Kinesitherapy (also called kinesiatrics) is the science that studies
joint and neuromuscular mechanisms that ensure normal human motor activities.
Kinesitherapy is defined as movement therapy performed through special rehabilitation programs
that aim at restoring some diminished functions or increasing functional level in various diseases.
Physical therapy programs are specially designed keeping in mind the patient's constitution, age, disease, type of activities people carry, stage of the disease, and existence of other diseases.
