Etymologically, the word psychology comes from the Greek terms: "psyche" and "logos", which means "the science of the soul".
Psychology studies the human behaviour and mind. Meaning : the psychology is a scientific step that helps us obtain knowledge using systematic and objective methods; the psychologists study the behaviour: - any action or reaction that can be measured or observed; the psychologists study the mind: - the conscious and the unconscious state of mind.

- Clinical psychology : a complementary psychological exam that has the purpose to graduate and integrate the psychiatric diagnostic
- Occupational psychology : completes the medical investigations requested by the occupational medicine doctor, needed in hiring, periodic exam and resume work
- Psychological Testing of Drivers : an evaluation for the professional and amateur drivers. This type of examination is necessary in obtaining the drivers licence, and in traffic safety (psychological exam for professional drivers)

Psychotherapy is an interactive process between a person and a qualified psychotherapist. Its purpose is the exploration of thoughts, feelings, and behavior for problem solving and achieving higher levels of well-being.
Psychotherapists use a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behavior change that are designed to improve the mental health of a client or patient, or to improve group relationships (such as in a family).
Psychotherapists are bound by professional and legal standards of ethics, such as protecting the confidentiality of information provided by clients or patients, not engaging in inappropriate behavior with a client or patient, and protecting the safety of children by reporting suspected child abuse to legal authorities.
